NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Norfolk Police officer is hurt following a crash Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were responding to a service call around 3:45 p.m. when one of the officers slowed down before attempting to clear the intersection of Chesapeake Boulevard and East Little Creek Road. As the officer entered the intersection, a civilian’s vehicle, that was traveling southbound on Chesapeake Boulevard, struck the right side of the police vehicle.
The driver and passengers in the civilian’s vehicle were not injured…
