Teenagers arrested after burglary on Charles River Landing Road in York County

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — On April 10, two teenagers were arrested after a burglary on Charles River Landing Road in York County on April 8, according to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.

Jamire Baker, 19, of Yorktown, has now been charged with burglary while armed, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and wearing a mask to conceal identity. A juvenile, 17, of Quinton, has been charged with burglary while armed, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, wearing a mask to conceal identity and underage possession of a firearm.

On April 8 just after midnight, the office’s deputies responded to a reported burglary at a residence in the 100 block of Charles River Landing Road. While the homeowner wasn’t home at the time, they had installed interior security cameras, which alerted them that someone had entered the home. The homeowner reported that two mask-wearing males with semi-automatic pistols had entered the house through a window.

Deputies arrived to the residence within minutes and saw the two suspects leaving the residence. Deputies pursued the duo, but didn’t find them…
