NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — An 8-year-old boy was struck by a pickup truck while taking out the trash Wednesday evening in Newport News, according to police.
Officers responded to a hit and run involving a pedestrian in the 700 block of Waterfront Circle at approximately 6:55 p.m.
