Man charged in armed robbery of PlayStation 5 in Yorktown

YORKTOWN, Va. (WAVY) — A 25-year-old man was arrested Thursday following the armed robbery of a PlayStation 5 at a residence on Kenmar Drive, according to York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.

On April 25, deputies responded to a reported armed robbery in the 100 block of Kenmar Drive at approximately 12:25 p.m.

When deputies arrived, they discovered that the occupants of the residence had advertised a PlayStation 5 for sale on Facebook Marketplace. The sheriff’s office said four male suspects arrived, producing handguns and robbed the victims of the PlayStation 5. The suspects then fled in a blue Kia Soul vehicle…
