HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Firefighters battled a house fire on Bramston Drive in Hampton Saturday afternoon, according to the Hampton Division of Fire & Rescue.
On June 6 at around 1:50 p.m., Hampton Public Safety Communications received a call for a trash can on fire behind a house in the 100 block of Bramston Drive. The caller said the fire was spreading to the house’s deck.
When units arrived to the scene by 1:54 p.m., they saw smoke and flames coming from outside of the house. Units then started an aggressive fire attack and searched the house multiple times.
The fire was declared to be a working incident at around 1:57 p.m. The fire was marked under control at 2:17 p.m. and marked out at 2:55 p.m…
