HAMPTON, Va., (WAVY) — Pirates will “overrun” the city of Hampton for the annual Blackbeard Pirate Festival June 13 and 14. The event features re-enactors dressed in pirate costumes who will lead visitors back to 1718 Hampton. The festival includes live music, vendors, arts and crafts and children’s activities, according to the Visit Hampton Virginia.
