HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Repairs to the North Gate of Fort Monroe are underway after a vehicle hit it last January.
It has been closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic for 18 months after an oversized vehicle struck the historic landmark and compromised its structural integrity.
