Outrage After California Homeless Individuals Are Seen Selling Food Bank Groceries for $1: ‘That Would Really Piss Me Off As a Taxpayer’

Internet users expressed outrage after a video circulated showing individuals described as homeless in San Francisco, California, allegedly selling groceries obtained from a food bank for $1 per item.

In the video, a man filmed several homeless people standing on a sidewalk with food items displayed in front of them. He alleged that the groceries had been provided by a food bank and were later being resold. “They sell them over here after our food banks give it to them,” he said.

The man then asked one of the individuals how much the groceries were being sold for. The person responded that each item cost $1. He then approached another individual, who was also selling items for the same price. The man continued walking along the sidewalk, filming several people who were allegedly doing the same thing. Some passersby were also seen purchasing the groceries on display…
