(KRON) — Eight people were exposed to bear spray after an argument outside the Lafayette Trader Joe’s on Saturday morning, according to the Lafayette Police Department.
Officers responded to the store on the 3600 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard after receiving reports of an argument in the parking lot. Witnesses told police someone sprayed several people with bear spray before driving away.
Police did not specify which grocery store the incident happened at. However, on the 3600 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard, there is a Trader Joe’s and Diablo Foods.
