Dozens of dog attacks reported in San Francisco Tenderloin

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Dozens of dogs have attacked and bitten people around San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood in 2026, according to city data.

Between January and September, there were 74 dog attacks, city data obtained by KRON4 reveals.

The most recent incident happened last week, when a woman was mauled and dragged on Larkin Street by a vicious dog. A witness told KRON4 that the woman screamed for help, and several people who were nearby rushed in to pull the dog off the victim…
