Kate Robinson is finally getting the keys to her dream building in the Tenderloin.
For a decade, Robinson, the executive director of the Tenderloin Community Benefits District, has aspired to create a community center at the important crossroads of Turk and Leavenworth Streets, in a two story mixed-use structure with Renaissance ornamentation that was a central part of the Uptown Tenderloin Historic District.
