Ike’s Love and Sandwiches
The College Avenue location of Ike’s, a local sandwich chain, has closed, several tipsters told Nosh. Ike’s is known for their massive sandwiches with special sauce, and is vegetarian/vegan and halal friendly. Ike’s still has other locations in Uptown Oakland, Emeryville, Berkeley, El Cerrito, and Walnut Creek. Ike’s Love and Sandwiches, was located at 6310 College Ave., Ste. 140 in Oakland.
Juice Appeal
Juice Appeal, the smoothie, juice, and acai bar has closed its North Berkeley location, a Nosh tipster revealed. It has one other location in downtown Berkeley. The shuttered location is inside Epicurious Gardens food hall, and an ice cream shop is reportedly slated to take its place. Watch Nosh openings for more details.
