One of Tiburon’s splashiest waterfront dining rooms is changing hands. Chef Michael Mina’s restaurant group is stepping away from the Bungalow Kitchen in Tiburon, handing management of the high-profile spot to Arizona-based Clive Collective effective June 1. The restaurant will keep the Bungalow Kitchen name, and both groups insist service will roll right along through the handoff.
The Mina Group, speaking through a publicist, said it is “incredibly proud of what the team built there over the past four years.” Clive Collective confirmed it will assume operations and is offering current front- and back-of-house employees the chance to stay on. Diners are not expected to see immediate changes, and both groups say they will roll out programming and menu updates in the weeks ahead as they work through the transition, as reported by Eater SF.
What’s changing and when
This is a management transfer rather than a full-blown rebrand. As of June 1, the Mina Group will no longer manage the Tiburon location…..
