(KRON) — One of the most popular ramen restaurants in San Francisco is opening in downtown Walnut Creek. Marufuku Ramen will debut at 1630 Cypress St. on Wednesday, May 27, the restaurant announced.
The ramen spot will take over the space previously occupied by Extreme Pizza, which closed in 2024 after a 20-year run. (Earlier this month, KRON4 reported Pizza My Heart’s closure in downtown Walnut Creek. To clarify, Marufuku is not moving into that pizzeria’s former location.)
Marufuku Ramen Walnut Creek will be open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. On weekends, they are open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. This location is currently not yet taking reservations.
