San Francisco recorded another homicide early Sunday in the Sunset District, amid an unexpected surge in killings this year in the city.
Officers responded around 5:21 a.m. to a shooting on the 2500 block of 46th Avenue, according to the San Francisco Police Department — blocks from Ocean Beach and the San Francisco Zoo.
