Gold Palm Announces Closure Amid Ongoing Financial Challenges
Located at 1900 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland, California, Gold Palm is a community favorite destination for craft cocktails and pub fare. The eatery was founded in 2024 and quickly gained attention with its tropical and artistic aesthetic vibe.
In an Instagram post, the restaurant team penned down a heartbreaking closure message. The team said, “Our last day of regular service at Gold Palm will be on May 27th, timed perfectly to the so-good-you-can’t-make-it-up The Last Dinner Party show at The Fox.”
The team said they opened the restaurant for two reasons. “First, to revive this historic space in Uptown (and put an end to another vacancy on the block). Second, because we fell in love with the possibilities of the little bar tucked in the back of the main room,” they mentioned…
