A Wildwood woman was arrested after allegedly firing a gun at a man who took her phone.
A deputy responded to a report of shots fired at an undisclosed Wildwood residence around 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, he spoke with 27-year-old Tei’onna Tychelle Veira about the incident.
She advised that the male victim was chasing her in his vehicle, running her off the road multiple times. Once at her residence, she ran toward the front door. The victim followed her, grabbed her and took her phone, the report said.
When Veira tried to get it back, the man pushed her to the ground. They got into a fight over the phone, and he handed it back to her before leaving. She suffered no injuries, the report said…
