Suspect allegedly sold drugs at location off Rolling Acres Road in Lady Lake

A Wildwood man was arrested on a warrant this week after allegedly selling methamphetamine to law enforcement for months.

Cordell Brown, 39, was apprehended at a location on Duck Lake Road, next to Rolling Acres Road, at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. The warrant authorizing his arrest detailed five incidents of trafficking in methamphetamine and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

The warrant detailed the transactions, starting with the first on Dec. 5, 2025. An agent with the Unified Drug Enforcement Strike Team assisted a task force officer and other special agents in Gainesville with the operation. A confidential source was used to buy one pound of suspected crystal methamphetamine from Brown.

The source began by reaching out to Brown, who told him to meet at Brown’s workplace on Duck Lake Road off Rolling Acres Road in Lady Lake during his lunch break. He instructed the source to park next to a black sedan and get inside. Brown’s supplier pulled up in a white Ford pickup truck soon after to exchange the methamphetamine for $2,000, the warrant said…
