Two years after a Marion County woman disappeared without a trace, her family is issuing a renewed appeal to the public for help in bringing her home.
Christy “Chris” Brazwell was last seen on the evening of July 11, 2024, riding a bicycle through the parking lot of Motel 728, located at 5035 SE Abshier Boulevard in Belleview, shortly before 8 p.m. She has not been seen or heard from by her family since that night.
On August 6, her sister, Katie Brazwell, released a statement pleading for anyone with information to step forward.
“Today marks two years since my sister, Christy (Chris), went missing,” Katie wrote. “I still think about her every single day. I have never stopped looking for her or hoping that one day we will get the answers we have been praying for. Life has not been the same without her, and there is an empty place in my heart that will always belong to her.”…
