Master plan for 329 homes on 110 acres in Silver Springs Shores approved during final review

Marion County commissioners unanimously approved the final master plan for a new 329-home subdivision in Silver Springs Shores on Tuesday, following project revisions that won over neighboring residents just seven months after the 110-acre site was rezoned.

The planned unit development spans 110.14 acres located north of the Lake Diamond and Crystal Lakes subdivisions, just west of the Bahia Trace golf course and near the Marshall Swamp area.

First approved for rezoning earlier this year, Fawn Lake Estates is being developed by Midway 65, LLC and engineered by local firm Tillman & Associates Engineering, LLC.

The finalized master plan includes a mix of 40-foot and 50-foot wide lots. Community amenities include a walking trail with benches, a gazebo, a recreational field, pickleball courts, a children’s play area, and natural conservation buffers…
