I live in Community Development District 4, which has 5,432 households, and I am a little disappointed in my CDD 4 residents. There were only four people in the audience last Friday, Aug. 14, during the monthly board meeting. On the agenda that day was a discussion of increasing the maintenance non-ad valorem taxes for 2026-27 by 25%. The increase is due to sinkholes in Cameron Villas.
My concern is the following cluster of increases since 2022:
