A 22-year-old convicted felon from Marion County was arrested after allegedly throwing a loaded handgun out of his pickup truck shortly before fleeing from a traffic stop at speeds reaching 90 miles per hour.
The events unfolded shortly after 11 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, when a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy pulled over a Ford Explorer Sport Trac pickup truck near the 10500 block of NE Jacksonville Road.
