Resident of group home arrested after unruly behavior

A Leesburg man was arrested for battery after allegedly throwing an Xbox at a group-home employee.

Officers responded to a group home in Leesburg regarding a battery around 2:50 p.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. Dispatch advised that a 20-year-old resident, Dominic Kenny Solomon, threw an Xbox at an employee.

The employee explained that he was sitting on the couch in the living room when he told Solomon to fill the empty water jug in the kitchen. Solomon then came out of his room and threw the Xbox at him, hitting the back of his right arm. This left a minor scratch in the area, the report said.

While officers were still at the group home, Solomon called dispatchers to say he wanted to meet with law enforcement at Taco Bell, 641 N 14th St. The officers arrived and were told that Solomon did not get along with the employee. He stated the employee was verbally abusive and instigated him to get a reaction, the report said…
