A 73-year-old Villager left her home in handcuffs after an argument with her man friend over the television allegedly turned physical.
Anne M. Lambrecht, who lives in the Village of Springdale, was arrested Thursday, Sept. 17, on a felony charge of domestic battery on a person 65 years of age or older.
Marion County sheriff’s deputies responded to the home at about 6:54 p.m. regarding a physical disturbance. The 74-year-old victim told deputies that he and Lambrecht had gotten into a verbal argument over the television in their living room. During the dispute, Lambrecht allegedly hit him with a pillow and pushed him, causing him to fall down, according to the arrest report.
After being read her Miranda rights, Lambrecht admitted to hitting the man in the eye with a pillow because they were arguing. She told deputies that the victim began to cry after being struck, at which point she walked away and went into the kitchen to wash dishes…
