OCALA, Fla. — ECMD, Inc., an employee-owned manufacturing and distribution company that specializes in building materials, and supply chain management, has opened a 135,000 square foot distribution center in Ocala, Florida, marking the company’s 16th distribution facility and expanding its nationwide distribution footprint to more than 2.2 million square feet.
The Ocala location strengthens ECMD’s ability to serve customers throughout Florida and neighboring Southeastern markets while supporting the company’s long term growth strategy.
The facility is expected to create approximately 20 new jobs initially, with additional employment opportunities anticipated as the business continues to expand.
