Following a breakout streak in independent features and fresh off his wedding, Ocala native Jackie Kay III is continuing his rise through the Hollywood ranks with roles in director Zack Snyder’s latest film and a hit Apple TV series.
This summer, Kay stars in both The Last Photograph and For All Mankind this year.
Written by Kurt Johnstad from an original story by Snyder, The Last Photograph follows an ex-DEA operative who ventures into the South American mountains to locate his missing niece and nephew after their diplomat parents are murdered.
Kay joins an ensemble cast led by Stuart Martin and Fra Fee, alongside Costanza Andrade, Marlon Moreno, Sergio Herrera, and Gustavo Angarita Jr. The film features an original score co-composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer, according to the project’s IMDb listing.
