A 31-year-old Summerfield woman was arrested on a warrant following a brutal, hair-pulling girl fight outside a local Wawa restroom.
Katlyn Jean Zirkle was taken into custody on Tuesday in connection with the late-night attack that originally occurred on Oct. 26 at the Wawa located at 14700 U.S. Hwy. 441 in Summerfield.
According to an arrest affidavit from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the victim told deputies that she and Zirkle had been experiencing “tensions recently.” The victim said she was inside the store’s bathroom when Zirkle walked in.
