ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is in for a quick weather rollercoaster over the next few days, with storms, a brief cooldown, and a fast return to summer like heat all on the way.

Sunday will be another warm day as afternoon storms develop late into the afternoon and evening hours. A weak cold front approaching from the north will collide with sea breeze boundaries, helping spark scattered storms closer to sunset. The greatest chance for storms will be between I 4 and I 95.

Some storms could turn strong, producing frequent lightning, brief heavy rain, and wind gusts between 45 and 55 mph. High temperatures will climb into the upper 80s ahead of the storms…
