A Belleview woman was arrested for driving with a suspended license after making eye contact with a deputy at Sunoco.
A deputy spotted a white Chevrolet Tahoe heading west on Gulf Atlantic Avenue in Wildwood at 12:55 a.m. Friday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. A check of the license plate brought up two prior calls in Sept. 2025 and Feb. 2026, both listing 29-year-old Isabel Carmen Nadal as the driver. A check of her driving history revealed her license had been suspended for habitual traffic offenses since Feb. 2, 2025.
As the deputy traveled behind Nadal, she abruptly turned into the parking lot of Sunoco, located at 900 S. Main St., and stopped in front of the store. The deputy followed as she got out of the driver’s seat and made eye contact with him. She quickly went inside the store, where he placed her under arrest, the report said…
