OBN rescues horses from cocaine traffickers

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics recently rescued six horses from cocaine traffickers and found them a new home.

According to OBN, a traffic stop on May 20 led to the discovery of 160 kilos of cocaine. The cocaine was being transported in a trailer alongside the horses.

Officials say after the stop, the horses were considered abandoned. They have found their new home at Blaze Tribute Equine Rescue.

“We wanted to express our sincere gratitude after they stepped up to care for the horses we seized during the traffic stop and to thank them for their dedication to rescue and provide a safe home for animals in need.” said OBN Director Donnie Anderson…
