“Benadryl Challenge” 15-year-old girl hospitalized with zero brain activity after trying social media trend, father warns parents

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — An Oklahoma father is joining those speaking out about the reemerging social media trend known as the “Benadryl challenge,” which has hospitalized several children, including his 15-year-old daughter.

Leah has been hospitalized at Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City for days after reportedly participating in the Benadryl challenge.

“I tell her to keep fighting and stay strong. You got this. You’re a fighter,” her father, Richard Presson, told Nexstar’s KFOR. He described Leah as the most giving person in the world with a contagious laugh.
