Edmond’s LibertyFest fireworks show returns to UCO with new safety measures
EDMOND, Okla. – A popular metro Fourth of July fireworks show is bringing back a tradition. Ten years ago, Edmond’sLibertyFest fireworks display was moved from the University of Central Oklahoma after an explosion injured several people. The 2016 fireworks malfunction forced LibertyFest organizers and the city of Edmond to move the show to Hafer Park near 9th street and Bryant Avenue.
