CLEVELAND CO. – A woman convicted of second-degree murder in a deadly Norman crash was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison with the possibility of parole, bringing relief to the family of 18-year-old Maddox Bias.
Sutton Petz was convicted in connection with the February 2024 crash that killed Bias. Prosecutors said Petz was impaired by nitrous oxide when she lost consciousness behind the wheel and crashed. Bias died and another passenger was seriously injured.
