OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — A small change to the Oklahoma County Detention Center’s menu is aimed at disrupting a much bigger problem inside the jail: contraband, including homemade alcohol.
Jail Administrator Tim Kimrey said the detention center is swapping out corn for green beans after a recent operation targeting contraband inside the facility turned up shanks, drugs and jailhouse beer, commonly called hooch.
