NEWCASTLE, Okla. (KOKH) — Newcastle Public Schools say a 16-year-old student was hit while crossing a crosswalk near Newcastle High School Thursday morning.
Newcastle Police responded to reports of an auto-pedestrian crash near State Highway 62 and Stan Patty. Upon arrival, officers learned that a Newcastle High Student was crossing in a designated crosswalk when a vehicle traveling northbound on State Highway 62 failed to stop.
