OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The wife of fallen Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Vernon Brake has filed a lawsuit alleging negligent acts and omissions by a metro trenching company and commercial truck driver.
Trooper Brake, Mercedes Bayne, and her 5-year-old daughter Ariana were killed earlier this month after a deadly collision on I-35 near Hefner Road.
