Midwest City auto-pedestrian accident leaves one injured

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — A man was injured after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in Midwest City.

According to the Midwest City Police Department, just after 8:50 p.m., officers responded to the scene of an auto-pedestrian accident near Reno Avenue and Woodside. When they arrived, they found an unresponsive adult male near the intersection.

Witnesses told officers that the driver had a green light while the man attempted to cross the street against a red light signal before being struck by the vehicle.

Authorities said the driver remained at the scene of the accident, while the man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released at this time…
