OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is using state funds to bolster weekend enforcement in areas where they say they’re seeing illegal car meetups.
They’re also deploying some new tactics in the event deputies encounter any retaliation attempts.
DCSO was awarded a grant from the Nebraska Department of Highway Safety that will allow them to bring in extra officers on the weekends when they are seeing most of these gatherings…
