OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A senior couple who became victims of identity theft six years ago thought their names had since been cleared. Then a notice arrived from a federal agency.
When identity thieves stole Frank Holstein’s Social Security number in 2020, he received notice that a Small Business Administration loan paid out during COVID-19 was in his name. The SBA loan of nearly $100,000 went to Holstein Farms, with an address listed as Frank and Alicia Holstein’s Papillion home.
