Omaha woman, 38, dies after alleged drunk-driving crash with motorcycle in Papillion

PAPILLION, Neb. (WOWT) – A 30-year-old Omaha woman is facing DUI homicide charges after the victim in a motorcycle crash died.

Charges against Ashley Martinez, 30, of Omaha were upgraded this week to motor-vehicle homicide while under the influence and manslaughter in the death of Kelly Chriswisser, 38, of Omaha as the result of a May 23 crash. Martinez was originally charged with driving under the influence and causing serious bodily injury.

Chriswisser died six days after she was involved in a crash while on a motorcycle. Another person on the motorcycle was also injured in the crash reported at 3:49 p.m. May 23 near 144th Street and Schram Road…
