Omaha Parks Department getting new interim director

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The City of Omaha has another new interim director for the Parks Department.

Mayor John Ewing Jr. appointed Jacquelyn Morrison, who has worked in the Omaha Mayor’s office since 2022, to fill the post as the city continues its search for a permanent director.

She replaces Interim Director Jake Lindner, who was appointed to the position by the mayor last July. Lindner will return to role as Park Planning and Development Manager, according to a news release issued by the mayor’s office on Thursday…
