OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – An Elkhorn man accused of driving 98 mph before a crash that killed two young brothers will head to trial in District Court.
Tanner L. Hunt, 28, appeared before Judge Thomas K. Harmon in Douglas County Court on Monday and waived his right to a preliminary hearing on two counts of motor vehicle homicide-DUI, class 2A felonies. Harmon bound the case over to District Court.
Hunt remains held at Douglas County Corrections on a $10 million bond. The court has ordered no contact with the victims’ family. GPS monitoring and participation in a 24/7 sobriety program are continued conditions of his pretrial release.
