T-Showers move south, staying very muggy for the afternoon

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A few storms continue south of the metro late this morning but the severe risk is over.

Storm chances even south of the metro will drop after noon with the severe risk drifting to our south into Kansas. Temps will peak in the low 80s in the afternoon.

Areas of fog will be likely to develop overnight into Wednesday morning. This will be the case for Thursday and Friday mornings as well.

Spotty storm chances will be with us again after noon Wednesday. One or two of these may have gusty winds or hail, though most will have downpours and lightning be the main features.

This will again be the case by Thursday evening as this busy pattern continues. Occasional isolated storms will also be possible on Friday.

The good news for weekend plans is that storm chances will drop as will the mugginess. Mid 80s should be expected for highs Saturday with low 80s by Sunday…
