Bonds set for men arrested after shooting near Levi Carter Park

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The two suspects arrested after a shooting near Levi Carter Park that sent three people to the hospital were in court Wednesday.

Maurice Jones and Michael Jones, both 19, are facing charges of discharging a firearm, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, and three counts of attempted first degree assault.

Other charges include: possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, and failure to affix tax stamp, and tampering with physical evidence.

In court Wednesday morning, Maurice Jones’ bond was set at $5 million and his preliminary hearing was set for May 22…
