A brunch outing at a popular Orlando diner turned into a viral headache after a family of seven walked out without paying their check, and the whole thing was caught on camera. The video shows two adults and several children strolling away from their table at the Diner’s Universal Boulevard location like they were just heading to the restroom, except they never came back.
The restaurant’s owners, Diane and her son Anthony, said the group had been perfectly pleasant during the meal, according to WKMG News 6 ClickOrlando. One of the men even reportedly dug into food from someone else’s plate, which, hey, credit where it’s due, the guy clearly trusted the menu. But according to the owners, that friendliness was apparently part of the act the whole time.
Once the server realized the table had cleared out without settling up, the restaurant leaned on the one thing they had: a phone number the group left at the hostess stand while waiting for their table earlier that day. Calls and texts went unanswered for a while, which is a pretty universal signal that someone knows exactly what they did…
