The Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida posted a video on Facebook showing a patrol vehicle pursuing what appears to be a red Lamborghini Huracan Performante that was clocked at 137 mph. The incident comes amid a crackdown on excessive speeding under the state’s Super Speeder Law, which penalizes motorists for driving at dangerously excessive speeds.
According to the post, the police vehicle spotted the Lamborghini doing triple-digit speeds on the Florida Turnpike near State Road 408. Initially, the Lamborghini driver tried to flee, making swift lane changes, but he was eventually held up due to traffic.
