UPDATE, Aug. 17, 2:59 p.m.: We’ve now heard directly from former Los Tres Golpes partners Stanley Salazar and Ramón Tavarez, who both say the decision to end the brand was mutual. “We all made this decision together,” Salazar told Bungalower, adding that the three hope they may work together again someday. Salazar also clarified that the restaurant was not shut down by the Health Department and confirmed that El Bloque will open near the Florida Mall.
The sudden closure of Los Tres Golpes last week left plenty of questions, and while we still don’t have the full story from the three partners themselves, their public posts are beginning to show what happened next.
