ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Health Cancer Institute has been recognized by the Florida Department of Health with its prestigious Cancer Center of Excellence designation, becoming one of just seven centers statewide to earn the honor—and the only one in Central Florida.
The designation recognizes cancer programs that exceed standard requirements by delivering high-quality, comprehensive, and coordinated care. Evaluations are based on 16 performance measures across organization, healthcare professionals, and patient-centered services.
