When Gideon’s Bakehouse first opened at Disney Springs in December 2020, it was a genuine surprise. This small, locally owned, gothic-themed bakery with serious craft ambitions somehow “out-immersed” half the restaurants at Walt Disney World.

Now, on the fifth anniversary of that opening, the team announced it is swinging big again. Six Ravens, their new savory concept, arrives this summer in the former Art of Shaving space at The Landing.

What Is Six Ravens at Disney Springs?

Six Ravens isn’t a third Gideon’s Bakehouse location (the original is at East End Market, not far from downtown Orlando). According to Walt Disney World’s official listing, it’s a fully realized new concept with its own identity, themed menu and cast of collaborators. Guests can think of it as the “savory story counterpart” to the bakery’s sugar-and-spice world.

At its core, Six Ravens Disney Springs specializes in something called a Coffyn. For the record, the spelling is intentional. The name is borrowed from the original medieval term for a pastry: a house-made yeast roll that fully encloses savory fillings, historically designed to preserve hearty meals during long pilgrimages…
