Kansas City honors ‘father of KC barbecue’ Henry Perry at free museum event

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — On Friday, July 3, the Museum of BBQ in Crown Center will celebrate Henry Perry Day, honoring the man known as the father of Kansas City barbecue.

The event is free, and the first 100 people to arrive will receive a complimentary barbecue rib from Burnt Ends BBQ.
